This is a user-written Stata program for fitting flexible parametric survival models on the log cumulative hazard scale. The files for this program can be downloaded and installed by running the command ‘ssc install stpm2’ in Stata.
Flexible parametric survival models use restricted cubic splines to model the log cumulative hazard function. This approach also enables modelling of time-dependent effects as well as non-linear effects of explanatory variable(s). Post-estimation commands allow predictions to be made from the model.
